- I have been teaching for the Salem-Keizer School District since 1982. I love learning and watching my students learn to love it too. My mother taught me a rhyme that I share each year with my students. It goes like this: Good, better, best. Never let it rest, until the good is better and the better is best. We strive to always to our best.
